Thanksgiving 2015

I still can't believe that this holiday was over a month ago. Time is flying waaaay too fast.

We hosted our second annual fried turkey/pickle festival at our house this year. Very similar to last year except for we had a new cute Baby Jace crawling around this year.

Baby Jace was so excited to see his Papaws and Mimi that he had a little bit of an accident on his bike. Of course this was a mere two days before family photos, but that's how it goes, right?

Dinner seems to get more and more perfect each year.  This year we separated into a boys vs girls table, but Jace played both sides.

We certainly love this quality Wheeler/Morrison/Burke family time.

Happy Thanksgiving!

And little man is getting soooooo close to walking :)

Halloween 2015

Y'all, this was so long ago...

All I remember is that we had a Halloween party, and it was a blast. The pictures can tell you the rest of the story.

First things first.  The "Best Costume" award went to Scottie.  He dressed as "1993 Josh Morrison." It was fabulous:

Scott's outfit was clever, but of course Jace was the cutest.  And his mom and dad enjoyed being safari guides :)

I was very impressed with the rest of the bunch this year.

I absolutely adore this group:

Merry Christmas and Happy Halloween :)

Ten Months Old

I know, I know...I haven't posted in forever.  Life has been a little tough on me lately (more on that later), but the one thing that keeps me going is my sweet Baby Jace. He recently turned 10 months old, and he just continues to get more and more adorable.

(don't mind my toe)

Little man is still cruising like a champ around the furniture, but no standing or steps. He eats EVERYTHING (including ginger), but his favorite food is spaghetti and broccoli. He can finally say "mom-mom," but mostly when he is upset and crying. His favorite activity is to roll all over our golden retriever, Sienna. He also loves to throw anything he can get his hands on (soccer ball, tennis ball, toys).  He continues to looooove bath time.

He is so much fun to take to restaurants - he waves at everybody and says "hiiiiiiiiiiiieeeiiiiii." He's wearing 12 month clothes, and 18 month PJs. He finally has one little bottom tooth with a second one coming through. Little man will be eating apples soon enough.

My heart continues to grow every single day for this sweet little boy :)

Nine Months Old

Nine months old.

My oh my, time flies by way faster when you're not pregnant. The most uncomfortably fat nine months of my life followed by the most wonderfully fat nine months of my life :) Jace is truly a blessing.

Little man is now eating anything and everything in sight. He can't feed himself yet, but he can give his momma dirty looks until he is fed. He has a particular fondness for spaghetti, mac n cheese, and broccoli. He's wearing nine month clothes, size 4 diapers, and 12 month jammies.

He still loves his walker, but has graduated to his Radio Flyer tricycle. He crawls like a champion, and he cruises the furniture like it's his job. His first word is "dadadadada" (yea...Mom is irritated). He also waves hello all the time, even to strangers. When he is around laughter, he fakes it just to fit in.  It's adorable.

He loves gnawing on our cellphones, but acts a little bit bratty when we take it away from him. He loves pulling Bubbaloo and Sienna's tail. His favorite toy is anything he can roll around the house and chase after. He still loves bath time, and he might sleep with his mom and dad more than any parent should allow.  oh well.

He had a nine month appointment and measured at 29.25 inches long (80%) and 20 pounds, 7 ounces (60%). Little man is all beer gut and thighs.

Okay, okay...let's make these next three months go by reaaaally slow, please :)
