Typical April Weekend

Alright, y'all. I'm not bragging (well kinda, I am). And I'm not ignorant either (okay, I might be a lil bit ignorant). But right now, Josh and I have a really freaking easy and sleepy baby that we can take anywhere. Yes...we are blessed. Yes...I recognize that number two is going to come straight from the devil's soul. I get it. But at the same time, we are going to take total advantage of the angel we have, and I'm going to show him off while I can, okay?

Here's a typical weekend for our 2-3 month old. The keynote that I'm trying to make is that Baby Jace has not cramped our lifestyle one bit. He's only improved it.

We do the typical "new baby" stuff like go on walks, watch TV, and take naps:

Cute, right?
It gets better.

A normal Saturday consists of either hanging out an outdoor restaurant/bar (judge me, I don't care). Or we get to have great friends over for a homemade meal and some couch/TV time:

We also get to enjoy our traditional Sunday brunches. And it's even better now. Because we get to go with cute babies like Will:

And Aunt Coco (aka Nicole) gets to join us and hold and love our own baby:
(PS - Jace loves Nicole more than he loves me. I'm totally okay with this. She's hard to compete with.)

Every single Sunday, we still get to have our "family" dinner out with our best friends. We go to places like Sullivan's, Calhoun's, or Wasabi:

And heck! Sometimes Jess and I get to go to Rooster's together for a little Sunday-Funday while the dads take care of the little ones:

But my favorite part of the weekend is spending so much time with our sweet boy. I can't get enough of watching little Baby Jace grow and learn.

Okay, okay...we jumped the gun on the bouncer. But he was so cute to try. I guess Mom and Dad have some growing and learning to do too :)
