I'm sure everyone is starting to see a trend. We spend a crap-ton of time with the Wheeler family. And who can blame us? They are full of celebration, love, and support. And after a few tough weeks on the home front, they were just what we needed.
A couple of weekends ago, we had the rare pleasure of no plans, no agenda, and no timeframe. Kara, Tom, Sam, and their pups made last minute plans to head over to Knoxvegas. We had NOTHING to do, and it was just fantastic. We spent Friday night at the house sitting around. The adults enjoyed their adult beverages, and the boys enjoyed spending time with each other. (sidenote...Chase was unable to join us and we missed him dearly).
On Saturday, we did a whole lotta more nothing. We did get around to watching McFarland (a phenomenal movie), and we then made dinner plans with friends at one of my favorite places, Surin.
After dinner, we enjoyed a peaceful evening on the back porch with Brooks, Nicole, and the pups.
We had a typical Sunday...we woke up late and confused followed by a scrumptious brunch at Shuck.
Once we realized Tom was actually a terrible Uncle, we kicked them out of the house...
Just kidding.
It ended up being one of my favorite weekends of the year. And we just can't wait to start vacation with them tomorrow. We certainly love us some Wheelers :)
