So every now and then, I read up and laugh about parenting trends. The current one that has me most tickled is this whole "gender neutral" thing that some weirdos are doing where they don't reveal their child's gender for like three years. They let their children "choose" to wear whatever clothes they want to and play with whatever toys they want to.
I mean...do they also let their children "choose" to cross the street without looking both ways? No. Even as a rebel fourth child, I believe in rules and societal norms. My son will have beautiful, short hair for as long as I can control this. That being said, shortly after he turned 8 months old, we made an appointment at Frank's for a little snip snip.
You probably can't tell from the before and after pics, but his bangs and hair behind his ears were driving me mad. So of course we had to take him to the most manly and hip place around to fix it:
Jace was a total champ. His favorite part was putting on the cape and pretending to be batman.

So if you're a dude in Knoxville, you probably shouldn't be reading my blog weirdo you really need to check this place out if you haven't already. Even as a girl, I can walk in and feel my testosterone levels rise. You basically get the celebrity treatment at Frank's:
Jarrod did a phenomenal job. Props to keeping our little man calm and cool. The certificate was a great touch too.
