So many, many moons ago (back when I had time for a blog), my son celebrated his first birthday. I initially decided this was going to be a very small, intimate family affair. But as we got closer to the celebration, things started to get a little out of hand.
So sometimes I feel like we have to bribe our friends to make them come to celebrations. This event was no different and Jace had two great offerings at his party:
That food truck was awesome. And we literally had cold beer for days.
Special shout out to my dear friend, Ashley, who flew all the way from Austin, TX to celebrate Jace's big day!
Our coolest friend we have, Scott, provided the cake. It was so sweet of him. Jace did not so much care for the sugar, but the rest of the guests devoured it.
My poor sister spent the entirety of the evening putting together all of Jace's toys. You can tell she's done this once or twice before.
