Dusty and Andrea Married

The Saturday after Cameron was born, our two great friends had one of the most beautiful weddings on the most beautiful days of the year. Josh offered to watch Cameron while Jace and I headed to celebrate the event.

Y'all...Dusty and Andrea seriously had my dream wedding.  It reminded me of my wedding but on steroids. The wedding took place on Andrea's gorgeous family property in North Knoxville. Everything looked straight out of Etsy. Homemade, country cuteness. I was in heaven.

So this was Jace's first wedding, and I was a little bit nervous. Thankfully, he was asleep during the ceremony, so everything was going smoothly...that is until Tom and I just couldn't stand looking at the booger in Jace's nose. I mean...it was right there. Kara begged us not to touch it, but Tom and I refused to listen.

So we picked it. He immediately woke up, started making a ruckus, and I walked to the back of the ceremony so not to interrupt the beautiful occasion.

The good news is that I got to snap this beautiful picture of bride and groom kissing underneath that monstrous tree. The bad news is that Jace's behavior only got worse from there.

Without going into a whole lot of detail, there was a toy truck incident. Jace threw the biggest temper tantrum in the history of temper tantrums. He threw himself on the dirt, cried, screamed, kicked, and did a great job of making me look like a supermom (not). The only way I could stop the madness was for him to roll full size pumpkins down the hill. Sorry, Dusty and Andrea, that you had to clean that up...but it was for the good of event.  Trust me.

Unfortunately, I spent the entire reception running around like a mad-woman, so this is the best I've got as far as pictures.

And I did get to talk to the groom for all of 5 seconds.  Jace...you're fired from weddings.

Congrats, Dusty and Andrea! I'm sorry Jace tried his best to ruin your wedding :)
