"P-Lizness Open for Bizness"
Yes...that's the best we could come up with for our fun-filled birthday weekend. My best friend, Petey, has the exact same birthday as me (except he's ten years older...old enough to be my dad according to him). For the second year in a row, we were originally planning a New Orleans trip. And for the second year in a row, I had to cancel. Sorry, Petey :(
Our next best option was a cabin in the mountains. We had a great group and an even better time spending the weekend all cozied up with each other.
I was one of the last to arrive on Friday evening, and I walked in the door to this:

Jace and his Jello-shots had quite the weekend....
Personally, I slept. Like the entire weekend. Like asleep by 10 PM and then napped all day. I finally woke up on Saturday to one of my dear friends banging pots and pans in front of my face. And it was dark. I didn't see the light of day from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning.
I did manage to take a few snapshots in the four hours that I was awake that weekend. Again, that's probably a good thing considering the rag-tag group of people that I call my friends:
Petey and I certainly appreciate the fun and sleep-filled weekend. Happy birthday to us :)
