The second I found out that I was having a little boy, I immediately envisioned a tipi in his bedroom. I remember building tents with sheets as a child, and I would have absolutely loooved having a tipi in my own room. It was one of those sweet motherly moments I had (these don't happen too often, y'all) where I just wanted to give my child something that I never had.
So we sent a letter to Santa Claus, and he blessed my sweet Jace with the absolute perfect Christmas gift. I wanted something that was high-quality...legit looking. I searched for months and months on various websites, and I finally found the perfect tipi on Etsy. The story of Little Turtle's Tipi is adorable. The quality of this tipi far exceeded anything I imagined, and Sadie was a pleasure to work with.
We were able to customize the tipi just the way I wanted it for Jace. And he absolutely loves it.
This beauty is made from real wood poles, canvas fibers, leather straps, abalone shells, beads, feathers, and included a bison faux fur rug. I love the gray painted stripe to match his room.
Even better, it's also puppy and adult friendly. I might have already spent at least one night in there :)
Thank-you, Santa Claus, for a gift that will last us many, many, many years. I'm so excited to see Baby Jace's imagination and creativity flourish :)
