Jace's first Christmas was two things: magical and HOT
Everyone talks about how special Christmas is with a child, and it's so true. Even though he's too young to get excited about Santa Claus yet, it was so much fun reliving my childhood traditions through my son.
For example, Christmas Eve PJs:
The only problem? It was like 9 million degrees in South Carolina. Seriously....it kinda ruined the whole "dreaming of a white Christmas" spirit. We had the A/C on. Jace ended up half naked all night.
And he continued to be half naked throughout all of Christmas morning:
He wasn't really into the whole opening the presents thing. His sweet cousins, Chase and Sam, helped him out with that. And of course his favorite Christmas toys to play with?
Yep...it's true. Boxes and pots and pans.
Josh and I got hooked up too:
We ended up having a wonderful dinner with the Wheeler family, Grammy, Tim, and Aaron. The adults had a very sinful night full of LRC and Cards Against Humanity (Jesus forgives), but it was a blast!
Meanwhile, the children were tuckered out.
