My sister and I continued our annual tradition of celebrating the fourth together. This year we spent the week with family and friends in Cape San Blas, Florida. We got a beautiful house with a private pool right on the beach. The weather was perfect, the spirits were high, and Jace was...sick.
Little man somehow contracted the croup on the second day there and it. lasted. all. week. Somebody pray for me...I need a vacation from vacation.
So you know how they say social media doesn't really show the whole story? Like...we only post the good stuff to make our lives look "perfect." That's exactly what happened on the fourth. I spent the entire day in bed with a sick, crying, miserable baby. I told Jace that he better get his act together by sunset because momma needed good pictures to post, okay?
Y'all...we had so much fun for like...ten minutes.
