In two short days, our little man is officially a year and a half old! It's been a heartwarming 18 months. This morning, we took Jace to the doctor for another check-up. He weighed in at 26 pounds, 14 ounces (65%) and is 33.25 inches long (80%) which is somehow half an inch shorter than last time. It must be his haircut...
Little man never walks anymore...he only runs or marches. He loves pointing at everything, playing with toy cars, and he excels at saying "thank-you." It makes his momma proud. His thick hair has gotten a lot lighter this summer and his skin has turned a more golden brown.
He's great with animal sounds and is getting better at scribbling. He's gotten a bit pickier with his eating habits, but his favorites are a grilled cheese sandwich, pizza, goldfish, teddy grahams, and plain hamburger buns.
He hates to take a bath (sigh), but loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Family Guy, and any other cartoon that his mother can tolerate.
He was a total champ at his appointment today. He toughed out his vaccine and finger prick. But Lord have mercy when that nurse put a band-aid on his finger....
He totally fell apart.
Oh well, we still love this little stinker to death :)
