A couple of weeks ago, my beautiful Momma turned the big 6-0! This woman looks and acts about 15-20 years younger than what she is actually is. In fact, she's always said "age is just a state of mind." It's a great motto to live by.
We headed down to Greenville, SC to celebrate her family/close friends birthday bash at her house. I mean...look how adorable she is! She stays so young by walking her dogs, working very hard at her job that she loves (restaurant manager), having a great sense of style, and enjoying every minute of life that she can! I am so proud to call her my momma, and I am thankful for the life lessons she's taught me and the great genes she's given me!
Considering the hot and humid weather along with my preggers-disease, I didn't get nearly enough pictures to capture the special occasion. My sister did a fantastic job with decorations and food. The cake was just stunning.
We got her a special David Yurman bracelet w/ pearls that I plan on stealing someday to celebrate her big day (it's the one on top).
She had a big shindig the next day that we weren't able to attend, but I hear she might have gotten a little bit tipsy and had a little bit of a blast. Hate that we missed that one. Happy birthday, Momma :)
