My sweet little angel-face turned the big SIX months old on Tuesday. We took him to the doctor and little man weighed in at 17 pounds, 12 ounces and 26.25 inches long. He's hanging around the 50% for his age. He was so brave with his finger prick and shots. He barely cried at all and immediately started laughing as soon as Josh picked him up. Love them tough boys!
His favorite food is still Similac. He's still not a fan of the baby food. I might have fed him some refried beans, and he might have loved them (but I am not officially admitting to that). He'll eat some potatoes every now and then and LOVES eating pineapple and cantaloupe.
His favorite thing to do is to chase Sienna in his walker. He also enjoys playing with menus at restaurants. As of the official six-month mark, he was not quite sitting up on his own (but ONE day later, he figured it out...more on that for another blog). His favorite toy is basically anything he can reach and put in his mouth. No teeth yet, but I think they are coming through.
His hair is getting lighter and longer everyday. His eyes are so blue, and his skin is so fair and smooth. He's still looking like his father. He is so laid back and easy. He loves peek-a-boo. He hasn't met a stranger, and he is growing really fond of dogs. He's definitely a belly sleeper, and the nurse said that was okay at this point. We will start to put him in his crib any day now. The crib rule will not apply when his Dad is out of town.
Enjoy his six month pictures:
