With all of our dear friends leaving us, I haven't had any time to write the post I've been so excited about: Halloween 2014!
We somehow got "tricked" by Scott into throwing a last minute Halloween get together, and it ended up being an absolute "spook-tacular" night.
On a sidenote...I (being the future mother-of-the-year and all) turned off my porch lights and left a huge bucket of candy out on the front porch. Kids were STILL ringing our doorbell, so I made all my friends smoke their cigarettes out front. It totally deterred those little brats from bugging us anymore. I'm seriously questioning my decision to become a mother though...
Anyway, here are some great pictures from the night:
Camille did a great job making vodka jello-worms. These things looked ferreal legit. Baby Jace might have had the SMALLEST of SMALL tastes...and he may have LOVED them.
I also made my annual "brain hemorrhage" shot. How awesome do these bleeding brains look?!?! No-Baby Jace is not a zombie, and I did not let him try one of these.
Andrea and Dustballs made these creepy-awesome finger-dogs!!
I was very proud of my friends for pulling together some pretty good costumes on such short notice:
Creepy Rob Lowe
A Mummy-To-Be (come on, guys...that's some clever stuff right there)
A Redneck Zombie
Axl and Slash
A flapper chick
Pete as Mr. T and Julia as Pete's Cat (inside joke..sorry if you're on the outside)
The Devil! and yes, that's a fog-machine in our house. Thanks, Camille, for that addition!
Eeyore and Winnie the Pooh
A Grape-Bomb (one of my personal favorites)
Pete loves cats, so we "treated" him to surprise costume change in the middle of the party:
Here's just a couple randoms throughout the night:
Per usual, Hottub and I did a late-night outfit change. It got a little weird when Camille busted in on us throwing each other our pants...but she got over it pretty quick. I'm just thrilled I can still fit into Scott's clothes:
Happy Halloween Everyone! Can't wait til next year :)
