Maternity Monday (or Tuesday) - 4D Ultrasound

Exactly 24 hours ago, I was pretty sure I defied death. I woke up yesterday feeling like a piece of roadkill run over twice. Literally every bone in my body hurt something fierce. Particularly my hips and mostly my KNEES.  The thought of getting up to brush my teeth brought tears to my eyes. I caved in and called in sick to work for the first time during my preggers-ville experience. I was doing so well...and with 59 days left, Baby Jace finally got the best of me.

At about 12:30, I finally had the strength to get out of bed and change clothes.  I thought a walk outside might do me good.  So I walked up and down my street (maybe half a mile).  I took three breaks...finally came home a sweaty, hot mess...and ugly cried for about 15 minutes. I mean...less than 9 months ago, I ran a half marathon at an 8 min/mile pace.  40 pounds later, I can't even walk half a mile. Ughhhh...Jace is so grounded.

Anyway, Josh won husband/dad of the year last night - as he brought home bananas (recommended by my nurse), grilled me some organic chicken, and cooked up some broccoli (also recommended by nurse). He then headed back out late night to get a heating pad and some Gatorade. I woke up this morning feeling like I had brand new knees put in. Moral of the story...my days of sugar and laying on the couch are over :( Seven months into this mess, I'm going to start treating Jace to a whole lot more vitamins, minerals, and light exercise. He better love me A LOT.

So on to the good stuff...OUR 4D ULTRASOUND LAST WEEK. I was so excited after having it done that I left the CD at the hospital...and it's still there.  Oh well.

But here are a couple fun pictures:
That's just Baby Jace chillin' with his foot by his ear...no big deal.

This next one blew me away:

TOTAL mini replica of his dad. If Josh had any doubts before...I mean, he is ALL Morrison. Just look:

Same forehead, same brow-line, same nose, same lips. You can't tell from the picture, but they have the same deep-set eyes too. Baby Jace showed next to nothing activity that morning...so pretty much same personality as his dad too.

Y'all, this is exactly what I wanted, and I am so excited to meet this little squish. We love you so much already, Baby Jace. Can't wait for you to join this world to be Dad's little sidekick :)
