The weekend before last, Jace, Sienna, Bubbaloo, and I headed to Greenville, SC to spend some time with the fam. (Josh was supposed to spend the weekend relaxing, but instead outdid himself and completely cleaned out our black-hole of a garage).
Sadly, Jace was not feeling in tip-top shape over the weekend. Almost seven months old and just now getting his first cold...I won't complain too much :(
So my sweet nephew, Chase, recently got his learner's permit. He got to chauffeur us around all weekend, and it was awesome. I was so proud of him too! Best DD I've ever had :)
We spent Friday night playing some CAH with friends. That game never gets old, and it's very baby and puppy appropriate too, right?
Grammy came over on Saturday, and we enjoyed some lunch at Yard House in Simpsonville. Not too bad at all. Jace hated the food (per usual). He loved the dirt (per usual). And Uncle Tom loved him some Southern Belle cocktail (per usual).
Baby Jace spent the rest of the afternoon napping and playing.
But the very best part of the day was when Auntie Kara gave Jace his very first sink-bath. It was ADORABLE. Bath-time has now become a part of our nightly routine, and it's my favorite time to spend with Jace. Poor kid has a million naked pics on my phone now...sorry dude.
We spent the rest of the evening grilling on the Wheeler back porch.
I really appreciate the Wheeler family for putting up with one sick baby and one really exhausted Momma. We can't wait to see y'all again soon :)
